SFND MAG: CirDahC… What’s good! First of all, we appreciate you for taking the time to interview with us. How you been?
CirDahC: What’s good SFND MAG! I appreciate y’all reaching out. I’ve been good—living life, staying focused, working, and writing.
SFND MAG: Let’s start with your latest EP, Trust The Process—what does that title mean to you personally, and how does it reflect where you are in your life and career right now?
CirDahC: Trust The Process means a lot. I spent a lot of my life rushing things, always in go-mode, thinking everything happened quickly. I was caught up in the fast life. But as I got older, I had to learn patience. I had to learn to really trust the journey, both in life and with music.
SFND MAG: Atlanta has birthed countless influential hip-hop artists. How do you feel your sound contributes to or challenges the current ATL music scene?
CirDahC: I think my sound definitely challenges the current scene. Everybody who hears my music connects with it—I haven’t had any negative feedback. Some people say I need to lock in on a consistent style, but the overall response has always been love. My sound stands out because it’s real, it’s me.
SFND MAG: “Sky Walkin” is your latest single. Dope record, by the way. What was the inspiration behind that track, and what message were you hoping listeners would take away from it?
CirDahC: Appreciate that. Honestly, I was chillin’ with my brothers, just recording, and this Wiz Khalifa-type beat called “Sky Walkin” came on. It had that vibe to it—so I ran with the name and the feeling. Since it had that Wiz energy, I had to touch on smoking and just enjoying life. I want people to have a good time when they hear it.
SFND MAG: Your music blends street perspective with personal experiences. Can you talk about how your life has shaped your storytelling approach?
CirDahC: I really grew up in the streets of ATL. At one point, I was even homeless as a kid. I didn’t know how to express myself until I found music. Whether I was by myself or with the homies freestyling outside, rap became my outlet. I grew up listening to Pac, Biggie, OutKast—they inspired me to share my story through the mic.

SFND MAG: There’s a strong melodic element to your music—was that a conscious direction, or something that naturally evolved as you found your voice?
CirDahC: That’s always been natural. I’ve had this sound since I started recording at 13. It’s just gotten deeper and more refined over time.
SFND MAG: As an artist coming up organically in the streaming era, how important is digital presence to your growth, and how do you stay authentic while building your brand?
CirDahC: Digital presence is super important now. Back then, it was about being outside—people had to see you, feel your energy. Now, folks might hear your music without ever seeing your face. I stay authentic by trusting my process, leaning on my team, and not being afraid of feedback. I’m not trying to chase trends—I’m just being me.
SFND MAG: One of the things that stuck out most to us is your music production. How do you approach selecting beats and producers to ensure the production matches your energy and message?
CirDahC: I know if I like a beat within the first 3 seconds. I’m big on guitars and pianos—they hit differently for me. When I’m working with producers, I treat them like my ears. They guide the energy of the record and help shape how I ride the beat. I’m open during the process so we’re locked in together.
SFND MAG: When fans press play on a CirDahC record, what do you hope they feel or experience in that moment?
CirDahC: I hope they feel like I’m in the room with them. I want them to relate—whether it’s a turn-up like “Sky Walkin” and “FrFr,” or something deeper like “Street Dream” and “Love Me or Leave Me Alone.” I want them to feel something every time.
SFND MAG: Trust The Process as a title seems like the perfect theme for rising artists. How has trust—either in yourself, your team, or your process—played a role in your development?
CirDahC: It’s been everything. Growing up, I didn’t trust many people. I’ve been used and taken advantage of, so learning to trust—myself, my team, the process—that’s been a real part of my growth. It’s still something I’m working on, but I’ve come a long way.
SFND MAG: What’s been the most challenging moment in your journey so far, and how did it shape your mindset going forward?
CirDahC: The early stages were the toughest—building relationships with engineers and producers, and learning how to trust others with my music. That shaped me to be more open, more intentional, and more committed to the craft.
SFND MAG: You’re gaining momentum not just regionally but nationally. How are you preparing for the next level of attention and pressure?
CirDahC: I just stay locked in. I work hard, stay consistent, and focus on my performance—stage presence, delivery, everything. I’ve been under pressure my whole life, and honestly, I feel like I perform better when the pressure’s on. I’m used to attention—it doesn’t shake me.
SFND MAG: Finally, what can fans expect next from CirDahC—and what’s one thing you want the industry to know about you that they might not yet realize?
CirDahC: More music. More shows. More tapes before the debut album Who TF Is CirDahC. And to the industry—just know when I really pop out, it’s going to get real. I’m ready to work with anybody who’s serious about the craft.
